Our Mission
We are dedicated to honoring the enduring legacy of Swing Dancing and its music, capturing the vibrant spirit of the 1930s and 1940s while nurturing their revival within our local community. Through thoughtfully curated events, educational outreach, music selections, and an atmosphere that echoes the era, we aim to create an experience that feels authentically reminiscent of that golden time.

In this immersive setting, local dancers can rediscover the charm of Swing styles as they were danced in the '30s and '40s—set to the timeless tunes that once brought them to life—embracing a unique part of American cultural heritage and embarking on a journey of connection, joy, and growth.

Join GSD for FREE swing dancing every Thursday in a beautiful, air-conditioned, historic dance hall with hardwood floors! Join us for an evening filled with music and dancing in a welcoming and inclusive environment!
